NMC Guidelines for Study MBBS Abroad

Following the publication of the new NMC rules for MBBS abroad, students aspiring to study medicine, students pursuing an MBBS abroad, and consultants who send medical students outside of India must all keep an eye on the new NMC rules for MBBS abroad.

  • The main language of instruction for the entire medical program must be English.
  • A foreign medical graduate must complete 12 months of supervised internship in abroad medical college and 12 months of internship in India.
  • No legal or medical license will be granted to a student who has not completed a minimum 4.5-year course program in a foreign medical institute, followed by a 12-month internship.
  • The training component of the full MBBS program must be done in the same country or city.
  • A student should be NEET qualified.

Eligibility Criteria for Completing MBBS in Abroad

The following documents are necessary for abroad admission in MBBS course:

  • Marksheet of both Class 10 as well as Class 12.
  • Application form of the university.
  • The NEET scorecard.
  • School Transfer Certificate.
  • Valid Passport and VISA.
  • No objection Certificate.

ADMISSION PROCESS

At any university in foreign countries, the admissions process consists of several different steps:

STEP 1: Application

Students can apply directly through us as we are the official partner of most of the universities for MBBS abroad. You must first select the university and country as per your budget. Our well-versed counselors will help you to find the right university for your right fit as per your budget.

Following your course selection, you must email us the following documents or provide us physical documents.

We will let you know whether the aforementioned documents have been accepted or rejected after reviewing them. Once the verification is done then we will send you an admission confirmation letter within 7 working days if you are accepted.

STEP 2: Invitation Letter

Once verification has been done successfully for your documents, student should get in touch with our representative to provide us the original passport. On providing the original passport we apply for invitation letter. Once we received the invitation letter then we will be applying for visa.

Documents for Visa Requirements

  • Invitation Letter
  • Authentic passport (valid for 2 years minimum)
  • Secondary school Certificate (legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and representative country embassy)
  • HIV/AIDS test (demonstrating lack of HIV/AIDS) in some cases.
  • 4 passport-sized photographs (3.5 x 4.5)

STEP 3: Visa & Departure

It can be tedious and difficult to adjust to living, working, and studying abroad at first. Similar to how students getting ready to fly might become anxious. Test Prepration

Indian nationals who pursue MBBS courses from foreign universities are required to clear the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) in order to receive the license to practice in India. The FMGE or the Medical Council of India (MCI) screening exam is a qualifying exam conducted by the National Board of Examination. In order to appear for the test, the candidate must have pursued the degree from MCI recognized medical colleges.
